Ydintalvipuutarha, Cafe Aula, Turku, Finland

Every summer for the past seven years, from the beginning of June till the end of August, I've had my Ydintalvipuutarha-nights here in Turku, Finland, every Thursday from 9pm to 2am. The concept of the night has remained the same throughout the years and it's very simple: warm summernights in a beautiful small garden by the Aboa Vetus Ars Nova -museum with a great soundsystem, combined with music I wouldn't normally get to play at my regular club gigs, and naturally cool drinks & barbeque. Ranging from new wave to jazz, ambient to folk, synthpop to experimental, basically anything that won't get you dancing.

This 4,5 hours mix was recorded 1.9.2011, and it was the closing night for this summers season, and represents pretty well what the nights are all about.
